A Scanner Darkly by Philip K. Dick is a drug induced, comical,
dialogue based roughly on the personal experiences and made-up scenarios
of science fiction writer Philip K. Dick. Full of comedy and bleak day-to-day
occurrences of an addict, it gives true insight of those who have delved
too deep into the murky realm of drugs and "Substance D."
Not sure whether to laugh or cry at times, the book takes the reader
into a world where the government's authority and people's paranoia
runs rampant.
