In response to increased activity and partnerships with the Mississippi United Methodist Conference, the Office of Alumni and Church Relations has been divided into two separate offices. Kay Barret Barksdale, B.A. 1964, who has directed both the alumni and church relations programs for the past six years, will serve as Director of Church Relations.

The new Office of Church Relations will provide resources necessary to strengthen existing programs, form new partnerships with the Conference, such as the new Center for Ministry, and increase services to individual churches. A Director of Alumni Relations search is under way.
