Dr. Jesse D. Beeler, Assistant Professor of Accounting and Director of Graduate Business Programs, has been named the H.F. McCarty Jr. Chair of Business Administration. Beeler, a Mill-saps faculty member since 1994, received his B.S. and M.B.A. degrees from Southwest Missouri State University and Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington. An accomplished scholar, he has published in leading academic journals including MIS Quarterly, Internal Auditing, Advances in Accounting, and The Government Accountants Journal.

The McCarty Chair was endowed by the late Mr. H.F. McCarty, a lifetime trustee of the College, and Mrs. McCarty in 1979. The McCarty Chair was the first endowed professorship at the Else School of Business.
