| Millsaps Receives
$250,000 Teagle Grant for Alumni Millsaps alumni fund-raising efforts have received a $250,000 boost. Thanks to the generosity of the New York-based Teagle Foundation, Millsaps’s Alumni Office will be able to focus even more closely on building and strengthening relationships with graduates. President Harmon notes that what impressed the Teagle Foundation was Millsaps’ desire to engage students and young graduates early in alumni activities that lead to sustained support for admissions, career development, faculty relationships, and fund-raising initiatives. “We want to re-energize our efforts towards all graduates in order to develop programs that better meet the needs of both alumni and the College,” says President Harmon.
