Rose Named Vice President
and Dean of Students

Todd S. Rose has been chosen as Vice President and Dean of Students. Most recently, he held the positions of Assistant Dean of Students and Director of the Office of Student Conduct at Emory University in Atlanta. Rose received his B.B.A. degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, and his M.B.A. degree from Baldwin- Wallace College in Berea, Ohio.

Although Rose says he will not make any sweeping changes right away, he plans to lobby for more residence halls on campus to accommodate the rapidly expanding student body at Millsaps. “Millsaps is a great place to work. Everybody’s been so warm,” Rose says. “Small schools are very much like families.”

“I have had the pleasure of working with Todd Rose at three institutions, and I know from per- sonal experience that he possesses great insight, understanding, and professionalism. Moreover, there is not a quicker wit to be found,” says President Frances Lucas-Tauchar. “Todd is particularly successful in partnering with student leaders to improve campus activities and student life. We are fortunate to have him here.”
