Prenshaw Named McRae Chair

Dr. Penelope J. Prenshaw, Associate Professor of Marketing in the Else School of Management, has been named as the Richard and Selby McRae Chair of Business Administration. Prenshaw has been a Millsaps faculty member since 1994. She received her B.S. and M.B.A. degree from the University of Southern Mississippi and her Ph.D. degree from the University of Houston. She served as the Director of the Else School of Management International Business Program from 1995 to 1999, directing undergraduate and graduate study abroad in London, Paris, Munich, and Prague.

Prenshaw’s areas of scholarly research include consumer behavior, international marketing, and marketing education. She has published widely in journals devoted to marketing theory and practice.

The McRae Chair was established in 1989 through the generosity of Richard and Selby McRae for the purpose of supporting recruitment and retention of outstanding faculty in the Else School.
