Alpha Sigma
Lambda Chapter Is Chartered Millsaps has chartered a chapter of Alpha Sigma Lambda, an honor society devoted to the advancement of scholarship and the recognition of non-traditional students in continuing higher education programs. Established in 1945, the society is the largest chapter-based honor society for full- and part-time adult students in the nation. The Mu Chi chapter at Millsaps is the only chartered chapter of the honor society in Mississippi. “We hope to build the honorary into a service organization as our membership continues to grow,” said Janet Langley, Director of the Adult Degree Program.
