The women's volleyball program is the fastest growing sport at Millsaps.  In just five seasons as a varsity program, the team claimed their second winning season with this year's effort.
   Head coach Shannon Carlson has quickly turned the volleyball program around with aggressive coaching and outstanding recruiting.  Since her arrival, the team has improved from 6-24 to a 23-7 record and regional ranking throughout the season.
   Freshman Anna Gustafson and sophomore Elana Campagna earned SCAC Women's Volleyball honors by vote of the head volleyball coaches in the conference.  In addition, five players were named to the SCAC All-Academic Team: Gustafson, Jaime Miles, Leigh Brasuell, JoAnna Barnett, and Sarah Casey.
