The season behind him, new soccer coordinator William Lytton is focusing on recruitment and on working with returning players in the off-season.  The men's soccer team finished 6-8-1, and the women's team finished 4-14-0.  These records do not reflect the talent level of the teams, as much as they underscore the fact that they are in a transition period.  Lytton has the experience and the knowledge to make Millsaps one of the best soccer programs in the Conference, and the Millsaps athletic community is glad to have him aboard.  Three women and men soccer players received First Team All-Conference Awards: Heidi Hudlow, and Jonathan Dear, and Jeremy Dobay.  Dear also received a First Team All-South Award.
