During the halftime ceremonies of the victorious Homecoming game, Heather Lea Neuroth of Simsboro, La., was crowned the 1997-98 Homecoming Queen. 
   A senior history and political science major, she is a member of Phi Eta Sigma and Phi Alpha Theta, both national honorary societies.  She participates in the United Nations Association, and she is an active member of the Chi Omega sorority.  She has been on the Dean's List every semester she has attended Millsaps.  She is the daughter of Thomas Wayne and Amy Zappa Neuroth of Simsboro. 
 

    The Homecoming Court also included maids Kathryn Bratton, Jennifer Brewer, Mary Largent, and Ashley McDonnell.
