President-Elect Lucas-Tauchar
Addresses Women’s History Forum

On March 24, President-Elect Frances Lucas-Tauchar addressed the Millsaps community at a forum in honor of National Women’s History Month. In her speech she outlined the evolving role of women in history, with particular focus on the challenges facing today’s women as they try to balance life in the home and the workplace. “It’s tough, it’s really tough,” she stated, “It’s very difficult being an executive, a parent, wife, daughter, and church-goer. But, with determination, one can do it all.” Dr. Lucas-Tauchar stressed time management, goal setting, and the support of family and mentors as keys to her own success.
