Two Millsaps football players have been chosen by the Football Gazette to its 1998 South Region All-America Team. 
     Byron Blackwell, a junior offensive lineman from Covington, La., was named to the third team offense of the All-South Region team after being named to the All-SCAC first team. 
     George Lumm, a junior linebacker from Collierville, Tenn., was named to the third team defense of the All-South Region team after leading the SCAC in tackles with 121 on the season. Lumm was also honored as a first team All-SCAC selection. 
     The Millsaps football team finished the 1998 season with a 3-7 record.
