Gamble Pays Off
According to a January 17 New York Times feature, The Signature Theatre
in Arlington, Va., is quickly becoming center stage for Washington theatergoers.
Alumni Paul Gamble, B.B.A. 1980, is managing director at Signature. He
is delighted, but not surprised, by the recent attention given to the playhouse
by the Times and by American Theatre (Nov. 1998). The small, 136-seat house
has attracted Tony Award winners because it is willing to take chances
with new material. Look for a Millsaps Magazine feature on Paul Gamble
in the summer 1999 issue.
