Miller Wins Award  
As Humanities Teacher  

Dr. Greg Miller, Associate Professor of English, has been awarded a Humanities Teacher Award by the Mississippi Humanities Council. The award honors outstanding humanities faculty who have helped to interpret the humanities for students and for the larger community. As a recipient of the award, Dr. Miller gave a public lecture entitled, "The Brazen and the Golden: Professing Poetry"on October 26. 
 "Dr. Miller is especially deserving of this award because of his fine record as both a teacher and a poet," states Dean Richard Smith.
