After Hours Treatment

For basic medical treatment off campus, you may make an appointment with a doctor on your own. Our doctors on campus will usually refer students to the Lakeland Family Practice Center, which is run by the University of Mississisppi Medical Center's Department of Family Medicine. You will need an appointment to see a doctor there. The Lakeland Family Practice Center is located at 878 Lakeland Drive, just a few blocks west of St. Dominic Hospital. If students wish to see a doctor when our clinic is not open (for non-emergencies), they may visit one of the local walk-in clinics, such as:

Unless your insurance is with one of the large Mississippi managed care netowrks, expect to have to pay for your visit out of pocket and file your own insurance.
