Writing Assignments

Upon returning to the U.S., each student will be required to write a reflection paper related to their experiences in this class. Graduate students who enroll in this course will be required, prior to departure to Mexico, to conduct research and prepare an extensive written report on one of the major topics to be studied. The graduate student will then be responsible for presenting the paper and leading class discussion on the issue. Performance on this assignment will be reflected in the student's writing and participation grade.

Homework Participation

Students are responsible for reading the assignments and preparing your initial response to the assigned homework before attending class.
