CLE - The Else School Yucatan Experience

Continuing Legal Education

 


April 4 - 6, 2013

Millsaps College's Else School of Management is offering to all individuals seeking Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit 12 hours of CLE credit in litigation practice, substantive law updates, and contemporary practice issues in a unique environment. The program will be based out of Millsaps College's Casa Millsaps facility in the State of Yucatán, Mexico (Read an article on Casa Millsaps from BizEd Magazine). This program is open to all individuals seeking CLE credit.

The program will begin in the Else School of Management's own Center for Business and Culture in Mérida, Mexico, a city dating back to the early 1540's. The Environmental Law Update is planned during a trip to Kaxil Kiuic, Millsaps' Bio-Cultural Reserve in the Puuc hills of the Yucatán. Cost

The total cost for these 12 hours of CLE credit is $750.

The estimated flight cost to Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico is approximately $600 U.S. dollars. The easiest flight in and out of Mérida is on United Airlines, non-stop from Houston, Texas. From Jackson, the total in-air time to Mérida is approximately 3 hours.

Snacks and beverages will be made available during the CLE sessions. Mérida is full of first class restaurants. You will find the cost of meals to be significantly less expensive than in the U.S.

Seating is very limited, so early registration is strongly encouraged.
