Live, Learn, Lead. Across the Street and Around the Globe.
The Arthur Vining Davis–funded International Perspectives Program (IPP) provides unique academic and living/learning opportunities designed to internationalize the Millsaps campus. Students selected as IPP Davis Fellows work closely with faculty mentors to examine an in-depth global topic through an interdisciplinary seminar in the fall semester. Their studies culminate during the spring semester in the planning and execution of a college-wide conference that assimilates perspectives about the seminar topic gained from the Fellows’ research, the Millsaps campus, and across the globe. The goal of the program is to integrate the global experiences of a growing number of our students into the classrooms and campus life in ways that can enrich the entire Millsaps community.
Davis Fellows will benefit from specialized resources, develop networking skills on a global scale (talk about a résumé builder!), and receive the following:
- Major Experience with 4 credit hours toward your degree completion
- Regional field trips
- Guaranteed premium housing in living/learning structure
- $500 Davis Fellow stipend
