Dear Students,

We understand that your families and you are currently dealing with how COVID-19 has impacted your lives, and that for many of you these have been difficult days. We announced on April 6, 2020 that all summer school classes for 2020 would be held via online instruction. Since that time and because we realize that the financial impact of COVID-19 is significant for families across the country, we have decided to reduce the cost of for-credit summer school by 20 percent to $550 per semester hour. In addition, we are waiving the activity fee and only requiring a $50 registration fee. Although these discounts will only apply to undergraduate courses during the 2020 Summer Session, we hope they will help ease some of the impact COVID-19 has had on our families.

The college has a variety of interesting and exciting online courses available to you this summer; you mayview the schedule here and register via Course Connect.

Your faculty and staff are diligently working to make sure you are afforded some level of residential experience in August. We realize there are a lot of unknowns with COVID-19, but we are excited to get everyone back to campus! We don’t know exactly what that looks like right now, but we plan to soon announce options that take into consideration a variety of external factors so we may be well positioned to react to the rapidly-changing COVID-19 climate. We will be in touch as plans progress.

We wish you well with the end of the semester and we appreciate your patience and positive Millsaps spirit.

Best,
The Millsaps College Executive Staff
