Dear Millsaps Community,
COVID-19 vaccinations and booster shots are now available to all students, faculty and staff today, Tuesday, January 18, as well as Monday, January 24; Monday, January 31 and Monday, February 7.
Vaccinations and boosters will be given on these days at no charge in the Wesson Health Center during regular clinic hours from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. No appointment is necessary. The Wesson Health Center is located on the bottom floor of the Student Life Center adjacent to the campus bookstore.
You are eligible for a COVID-19 vaccination booster if:
- You are at least 18 years old and your second dose of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine was at least five months ago; (or)
- You are at least 18 years old and were vaccinated with Johnson & Johnson (Janssen) vaccine at least two months ago; (and)
- You bring your vaccination card or proof of vaccination with you to the appointment.
(Please note: students who are 17 years old or younger who received the Pfizer vaccine should only receive the Pfizer booster. Millsaps College is offering the Moderna vaccine/booster.)
Vaccinations and boosters provide the most possible protection against COVID-19. Millsaps recommends that everyone who is eligible receive their COVID-19 vaccinations/boosters.
In addition, flu shots are also available during the Wesson Health Center’s regular clinic hours to all students, faculty and staff. The cost for the flu shot is $25.00 and may be paid by cash, check, payroll deduction or with student ID.
