Dear Faculty and Staff:

As we further refine our efforts to safely return to on-campus work, we have made some revisions to the COVID-19 Pandemic Return to Work Plan and Guidelines. We have also instituted additional considerations to returning to on-campus work. The following changes take effect today, June 10, 2020:

  1. The on campus return to work date has been pushed back to Monday, July 6 in order to more effectively stagger individual returns to campus. However, employees who wish to return to work on the original date of Monday, June 15 are welcome to do so based on supervisor direction. In addition, directors and supervisors may deem it necessary to require some employees to return on the original date of Monday, June 15 in order to fulfill the necessary operational and departmental needs of the college. Directors and supervisors will communicate these expectations directly to their employees.
  2. Employees who have been instructed to return to on-campus work on June 15 but who have concerns about doing so due to a medical condition that places them in a high-risk group may seek an accommodation by completing the Request for Temporary Modified Work Arrangement for Employees at High Risk form. Human Resources will consult with supervisors to appropriately address each request on a case-by-case basis.
  3. Prior to returning to work on campus at any date, all employees must complete the COVID-19 Symptom Self-Attestation Form.

Attached to this email you will also find the full COVID-19 Pandemic Return to Work Plan and Guidelines. We ask that you read and be familiar with the document prior to returning to campus.
