Dear Students,
I am pleased to announce the re-opening of the Hall Activities Center (HAC) for both undergraduate and graduate student use! Starting tomorrow, Tuesday, September 15, the HAC will be open on a limited, appointment-only basis exclusively and only to students. While we realize it is inconvenient and unfortunate that our faculty and staff are still not able to utilize the facility, we appreciate everyone’s understanding that we are working diligently to reduce overall density because of COVID-19.
In the interest of community health and wellness, we will be requiring all students to reserve both a time slot and the type of equipment. Both time slots and equipment use will have limited availability and can only be reserved for a maximum of 45 minutes. At this time, only 1 slot per person, per day is allowed and there is no crossover on equipment and student-athletes will NOT be allowed to book slots M-F during open hours at this time. We will continue to monitor HAC usage and adjust policies as needed throughout the semester.

Monday-Friday: 11:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.*
*M-F access restricted to non-student athletes with the exception of ping-pong & pickle ball.

I am also excited to announce the opening of the Recreation Desk beginning tomorrow, September 15. The Rec-Desk is located right outside the Hall Activities Center exercise area and will be open daily to check-out outdoor workout equipment, games, and balls. Looking for a structured workout? Our HAC staff of certified strength and conditioning coaches will provide a weekly workout plan through the TITAN fitness mobile app that all students will have access to. Any equipment needed to complete the weekly workouts can be checked out at the Rec-Desk!
