Do I have to be an executive?
The Executive MBA students are mid-to-high level managers or executives who are typically on track to advance into senior leadership. Seven years of managerial experience are required.
Does my undergraduate degree need to be a business degree?
No. A bachelor’s degree is a requirement, but it does not have to be in business discipline. However, no Executive MBA coursework will be waived for previous academic work.
May I complete coursework online?
No. Our faculty believes that face-to-face interaction in the classroom is the most powerful learning tool in an MBA program. Classes meet every other weekend for 16 months, and attendance is required.
Is the GMAT required?
No. While not required, if the applicant has taken the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT), it is advisable to submit the score with the application.
Do my recommendations need to come from my employers?
At least one. Two letters of recommendation are required. One letter should be from a higher-level manager or executive within your current organization. Letters of recommendation may be submitted online or mailed to:

Where are the hotel accommodations?
The hotel accommodations are at the Residence Inn located at the District at Eastover. Find out more about the Residence Inn.
Can the fee for the hotel accommodations be waived for local residents?
No. Rooms are available for all students, and refunds will not be made for students who do not use rooms.
How much is tuition?
Tuition for the Executive MBA program is $55,000.
Is there a payment plan?
Yes. Students can make four quarterly payments from January through December 2018.

Are there scholarships available?
Scholarships are not available. Financial Aid is available in the form of loans through the Millsaps College Financial Aid Office.
Do I need a computer and computer skills?
Yes. A laptop computer is required, but not included in the cost of the program. All students in the Executive MBA program will be expected to use Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel in case analysis.
Does the Millsaps College executive MBA have an international component?
At the beginning of the third term (January 2019), Executive MBA students will travel to Mérida, Mexico, the capital of Yucatán. Millsaps College has a mini-campus in Mérida that will serve as a central location for study of international business.
