We, as Undergraduate Members of women's fraternities, stand for good scholarship, for guarding of good health, for maintenance of fine standards, and for serving, to the best of our ability, our college community. Cooperation for furthering fraternity life, in harmony with its best possibilities, is the ideal that shall guide our fraternity activities.
We, as Fraternity Women, stand for service through the development of character inspired by the close contact and deep friendship of individual fraternity and Panhellenic life. The opportunity for wide and human service, through mutual respect and helpfulness, is the tenant by which we strive to live.
A team of well-trained Recruitment Counselors assist potential new members throughout the membership recruitment process. Recruitment Counselors will contact all potential new members before formal recruitment begins.
Financial obligations are an important factor in your decision to join a sorority. Each sorority varies in expenses and in the manner in which they are charged. A range of typical expenses is provided below:
Recruitment Fee: $50 make checks payable to Millsaps College Panhellenic Council
New Member Fees (first semester): $645 - $900
*includes one time fees such as initiation and badge fees
Full Member Fees (per semester): $300 - $375
Average Cost: $70 per month
Each chapter sets their own academic requirements for membership and initiation. The minimum GPAs set by each chapter range from a 2.0-3.0 cumulative GPA.
Recommendation letters may be sent to each chapter's campus mailbox.
