Alumna Karen Bebe Receives Graduate Assistantship at LSU

Karen Beebe ('08) will return to her studies in anthropology when she enrolls as a masters student at LSU in the fall. She'll do so with the support of a graduate assistantship and hopes to have the opportunity to put her skills and interests to use in a laboratory setting as a graduate assistant.

Karen, a Ford Fellow with Dr. Bey during her time at Millsaps, double majored in Anthropology and English. Her main interests are Maya archaeology and cultural anthropology.

After graduating from Millsaps, Karen worked for Josh Hailey at Josh Hailey Studio as an administrative assistant and photo editor. She spent most of the past year studying for the GRE and applying to graduate schools.
