When to Apply

The priority deadline for financial aid is March 1, 2014. Most of the information required on the FAFSA will come from the 2013 tax return. Therefore, an applicant should complete the FAFSA after January 1, when all pertinent tax information has been gathered. If you are unable to complete tax returns by March 1, you should make estimates on the financial aid forms in order to meet the March 1 priority deadline.
