  • Tours may take place before and after the NACAC Conference. NACAC rules prohibit college tours from being scheduled after 12:00 p.m. on the opening day of the conference, Thursday, September 22, 2011. Tours can be scheduled following the conference on September 25th.

  • Tours may be offered in one of three ways:

    A. Group Tour - Hosted jointly by two or more institutions - tours/programs on each campus.
    B. Individual Tour - Tour at a single institution. Tours that are by invitation only will not be listed on the website.
    C. Open Tour - Self-guided with no formal tour program

Institutions providing group or individual tours often provide transportation to and from the tour sites, including departure from the conference convention center and return to the convention center. Limited to X attendees. A waiting list will be created once the limit is reached.

  • If your tour fills to capacity, consider a waitlist in case of cancellations.

You must complete the College Tour Registration Form if you plan to offer a tour in conjunction with the NACAC New Orleans Conference, regardless of which tour option you offer. Register your tour.

  • RESPONSE DEADLINE FOR ALL TOURS IS February 18, 2011!

  • Tour submissions should be submitted by February 18, 2011. Review of submissions received after this date may be delayed. Submissions/changes received after July 1, 2011 will not be posted on the NACAC website.  Please carefully review your tour description before submitting. NACAC reserves the right to modify tour descriptions prior to posting.

  • You must provide a tour description, regardless of which tour model is offered. Tour description will serve as the advertisement write-up used on the NACAC website. Please see the online registration website for examples of descriptions.

  • Tour information will be posted on the NACAC Conference website in mid-March. Detailed information about your tour, however, should also be posted on your college/university website, and you will need to provide a link to the NACAC Conference website.
