Once you've completed and submitted your application, don't forget to submit the appropriate supporting documents:

  • Official copy of your high school transcript or GED. Request a copy of your transcript from your college/guidance counselor.
  • Standardized test scores (ACT or SAT).  Millsaps' ACT code is 2212 and SAT code is 1471. Scores appearing on official high school transcripts will be accepted.
  • Students for whom English is a second language should submit results of the IELTS or TOEFL (Millsaps' code is 1471).

Applicants will be selected on the basis of their academic record, the course work taken, performance in that course work, high school attended, and performance on standardized tests. The applicant's biographical information, extracurricular activities, and essay, along with a counselor and teacher recommendation, will also be considered in the decision-making process.

All admitted students will be considered for merit-based scholarships; students who wish to be considered for need-based financial aid must submit the results of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Millsaps' FAFSA code is 002414.

Early Action

Early Action is a non-binding admission option which allows first-year students to receive early notification of the Millsaps admission decision while not having to let the college know of your decision until May 1. Students accepted under the Early Action option are free to apply to other schools. Under Early Action, you must apply and submit all supporting documents by November 15. Admitted students will be notified no later than January 15. Admitted students may submit their enrollment deposit at any time until until the Candidate's Reply Date of May 1.
