Instructions on Applying for Admission

How do you make decisions? Applicants will be selected on the basis of their academic record, the course work taken, performance in that course work, high school attended, and performance on standardized tests. The applicant's biographical information, extracurricular activities, and essay, along with a counselor and teacher recommendation, will also be considered in the decision-making process.

What is the procedure for applying to Millsaps? Seniors may apply by submitting Part I and Part II of the Millsaps Online Application OR by submitting Part I of the Millsaps Online Application and the Common Application. The application fee for all applications to the college has been waived.

Step 2: Complete and submit your application for admission

Step 3: Submit the appropriate supporting documents

  • Official copy of your high school transcript or GED. Request a copy of your transcript from your college/guidance counselor.
  • School Report and Midyear Report completed by your high school/college guidance counselor.
  • Teacher Evaluation completed by one of your junior or senior level teachers.
  • Standardized test scores (ACT or SAT)  Millsaps' ACT code is 2212 and SAT code is 1471. Scores appearing on official high school transcripts will be accepted. Students for whom English is a second language should submit results of the TOEFL (Millsaps' code is 1471).
