Millsaps Grads Attend Med School, Help Mississippi

Millsaps graduates are taking advantage of the Mississippi Rural Physicians Scholarship Program, which provides $30,000 a year during the four years of medical school.

New VP for Enrollment/Communications Announced

Dr. Robert Alexander has been named vice president for enrollment and communications. Alexander joins Millsaps from University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA.

Writing Workshop, Readings to be Held at Millsaps

Novelists Robert Olen Butler and Tyrone Jaeger, and poets Alan Michael Parker and Sheryl St. Germain, will read from their works February 21 and 22 at Millsaps.

Come enjoy the romantic comedy "Almost, Maine," by John Cariani.The play is scheduled February 27 - March 3 at 7:30 p.m. in the atrium of Olin Hall of Science on campus.

Alum Chris Odom Hikes Entire Appalachian Trail

Chris Odom (B.S., '91) recently hiked the entire 2,184-mile Appalachian Trail, from Georgia to Maine. The foundations for his adventure were laid during his time at Millsaps.
