JACKSON, Miss.. — Luke Morrow of Millsaps College, a junior first baseman from Dallas, Texas, has been named the SCAC Offensive Baseball Player-of-the-Week for games played Monday, March 6 through Sunday, March 12.

In four games this week, Morrow went 8-for-16 at the plate, including two doubles, a triple, and a home run - which was a grand slam. On the week, he drove in 10 runs.

The Majors went 3-1 last week, which included a two-game split at Rhodes.

In a spectacular performance against Piedmont College, Morrow went 3-for-5 with six RBI and was only a triple short of the cycle.

For the season, Morrow is hitting .377 (10th in the SCAC) with a .623 slugging percentage (fourth in the SCAC). He also has 20 hits (tied for sixth in the SCAC) with six doubles (tied for fifth in the SCAC), two triples (tied for third in the SCAC) a home run and 16 RBI (tied for eighth in the SCAC). His 33 total bases is tied for third in the SCAC.
