Toronoto Argonauts Add Import Receiver Chris Jackson
Millsaps star signs practice roster agreement with CFL club

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario -- The Toronto Argonauts Football Club announced today that former Millsaps wide receiver/kick returner Chris Jackson and former Rutgers University defensive end Ramel Meekins have signed practice roster agreements with the club.

A young receiver who is fresh from putting up big numbers at Millsaps College, Jackson caught 65 passes for 693 yards and nine touchdowns and collected 832 kick return yards and three touchdowns in his senior season. Since leaving Millsaps, Jackson has been invited to training camps with the Pittsburgh Steelers, New Orleans Saints and Jacksonville Jaguars.

Acquired: Signed as a free agent with Toronto on September 12, 2007.
