Romaro Miller hired to guide the Majors QB's in 2004

Former University of Mississippi quarterback Romaro Miller of Shannon has joined the football coaching staff at Millsaps College. Second year Head Coach David Saunders tabbed Miller to coach the Majors quarterbacks in 2004.

Miller, a three-year starter for the Rebels has played for the National Football League's Minnesota Vikings in 2000-01, NFL Europe's Rhein Fire in 2001-02 and the Canadian Football League's Ottawa Renegades in 2003 and the Calgary Stampeders in the spring of 2004 before taking his first coaching job with the Majors.

Miller held a 22-13 career record at Ole Miss including wins in the 1998 (Texas Tech) and 1999 (Oklahoma) Independence Bowls. Miller set several quarterback passing records during his career only to be surpassed by Eli Manning. Miller is 19th on the Southeastern Conference career passing touchdowns record list.
