Majors allow four second half goals and lose 4-1

The Mississippi College Choctaws scored four second half goals Tuesday night on Harper Davis Field to escape Jackson with a 4-1 win over the Millsaps Lady Majors.

The game was scoreless at the intermission before Kristy Morse scored the first of her three goals in the 38th minute. Kellie Kriby scored the other goal for the Choctaws. Morse's third goal came on a penalty kick with six seconds remaining.

First year players Bobbi Jones and Erin Sanford hooked up for a second half goal with 13 minutes remaining to close the gap to 2-1. Sanford's first assist of the season came on on Jones' third goal.

The Lady Majors will now travel to face the University of Dallas before welcoming Belhaven College to Harper Davis Field.
