JACKSON, Miss. -- Erica Douglas of Millsaps College, a first-year pitcher from Lexington, Okla., has been selected the SCAC Softball Co-Pitchers-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, April 3 through Sunday, April 9.
Douglas tossed 26.0 innings, allowing just six earned runs (1.62 ERA) on 24 hits in posting four wins against Rhodes this past weekend.
Douglas, who also went 5-for-16 at the plate, struck out 12 batters.
Douglas leads all SCAC pitchers in innings pitched with 192.0 and is also tied for the league lead in wins with 12. She is eighth in ERA at 2.84 and has struck out 78 batters (third in the SCAC).
This is the second time this season that Erica Douglas has been chosen pitcher of the week. |
