Fleming Wins SCAC Pitcher of the Week

Kati Fleming, a junior right-hander from Columbus, Miss., has been selected the SCAC Softball Pitcher of the Week for games played from Monday, April 12 through Sunday, April 18.

Kati had an awesome week as she went 3-0, including two complete game shutouts against SCAC foe Rhodes. She allowed just two earned runs the entire week in 18 innings (1.00 ERA), and scattered twelve hits, fanned nine, and allowed just five walks.

For the season, Fleming is 10th in the SCAC in ERA (3.49), ninth in innings pitched (88.1), tied for eighth in wins (7) and third in opposing batting average (.258).
