Pennington's goal as coach of the Majors' tennis program is to instill a sense of team unity, have fun and strive for the NCAA Division III Championships. The goal is to find talented players who want to attend Millsaps for its academic benefits, rather than an athletic grant and aid. Our students will be asked to represent Millsaps with distinction and put forth their best effort needed to win.

Our team competition and practices fall within a 21-week calendar period mandated by the NCAA. Our schedule begins with the ITA/Rolex regional tournament in the fall, ends with the NCAA National Championships in May, and in between features 20 dual matches, an alumni match, along with competing for the SCAC tournament championships.
