SEWANEE, Tenn. -- Due to inclement weather the Lady Majors seventh place match against Southwestern was cancelled. Southwestern and Millsaps each claim one half of the seventh place finish in the 2006 SCAC Tennis Season.

This was still an improvement over 9th last year.

Leslie Frese earned ALL-SCAC honors at #6 singles.

Two time All-SCAC tournament team Katie Anderson concluded her career on a positive note once again. Although 1-2 in singles she played #2 ranked Trinity for the first time and finished 2-1 in doubles with her only losses to those ranked in the nation.

Each year the Majors have improved under Coach Pennington and next year will look pretty good with three recruits filling the void left by graduating seniors Katie Anderson, Mia Cowgill, and Kelsey McKnight. Katie Anderson will assume the role of Coach Pennington's graduate assistant next year.
