Millsaps College offers the Advanced Placement Institute for teachers
who are currently teaching or preparing to teach Advanced Placement
or Pre-Advanced Placement courses in their schools. The Institute
introduces the curriculum content and teaching methods needed by
teachers of Advanced Placement or Pre-Advanced Placement courses.
The Institutes will be beneficial for teachers seeking guidance
in beginning an AP or Pre-AP course or strengthening an existing
one.
The 2009 Advanced Placement Institute dates are July 12 - 17. Workshops offered are:
