Heritage Society

The Millsaps Heritage Society is a special group of people who have included Millsaps in their estate plan or who have made a planned gift on behalf of the College. Presently, nearly 120 individuals have made provision for Millsaps using a will, trust, life insurance, gift annuity, or other creative giving technique, in order to fund scholarships, faculty positions, or to enhance the physical appearance of our campus. These individuals recognize the impact that their future gift will have on sustaining the kind of quality education Millsaps must continue to provide tomorrow's students. In fact, nearly one-third of the total endowment of Millsaps can be attributed to Heritage Society gifts. Our goal is to increase Heritage Society membership by educating our alumni and friends on the importance of planning for the future, and by showing how a planned gift to Millsaps can help perpetuate the values that have made them successful.
