It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Millsaps College website. Since being named Millsaps' 10th President in January 2000, I have been thrilled by the commitment of our faculty, staff, students and alumni to the continued expansion of Millsaps' legacy of excellence. I am honored to have been chosen to lead Millsaps and have no doubt that we will succeed in our future endeavors.

Our faculty, staff, students and alumni understand that the Millsaps educational experience is about changing lives. Whether it is a faculty member who joins students for lunch to discuss an honors project or an alumnus who forms a team of community volunteers to complete the construction of a Habitat house, the desire to make a difference is pervasive at Millsaps.

Millsaps is a nationally acclaimed liberal arts college devoted to the development of mature citizens with the intellectual capabilities, ethical principles and sense of responsibility that are needed for leadership in all sectors of society.
