Millsaps Institute for Interdisciplinary Archaeological
Research provides many opportunities for faculty and
students to collaborate. Our programs of field research
and study stretch from the New World to the Old World,
and back again.
If you are a student new to archaeology, there are field schools
in Hungary,
Israel, and Turkey. There
are also field study trips to Mexico,
Italy, Greece,
and China that introduce you
to the people and places of the past. If you are an advanced student,
you can pursue research opportunities in Mexico,
Greece, Albania,
