Millsaps College Featured in Recently Released Book


Sweet Sixteen - Great Colleges of the SouthA chapter about Millsaps College in Jackson is included in the recently released book, Sweet Sixteen: Great Colleges of the South, written by John Pulley, a Washington, D.C., writer and published by Associated Colleges of the South.

High quality faculty and staff; distinctive academic programs that exemplify the best in liberal arts as preparation for life; and a strong sense of service and community are listed in the book as the strengths of Millsaps College.

The book features 16 nationally-ranked liberal arts colleges and universities in 12 states throughout the Southeast and is meant to be a resource of high school students, counselors and parents. The colleges featured in the book are known for the preparation and success of their graduates; a high rate of student satisfaction with their college experience; a high rate of students graduating within four years; affordability with considerable financial assistance available; and locations in an attractive part of the country.
