Ajay Aggarwal (mgmt.) presented a paper entitled “Technology and Healthcare” at the annual meeting of the Southeastern chapter of INFORMS (Institute for Operations Research and the Management Science). He was recognized at the meeting as the immediate past president of the organization. Randy Boxx (mgmt) was elected president of the Southern Business Administration Association at the annual meeting held in Nashville. Kim Burke (acct.) participated in a panel entitled “Practice Makes Knowledge: Interdisciplinary Writing on a Small College Campus” at the National Council of Teachers of English national convention in Milwaukee. Andy Felo (acct.) completed all four parts of the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) exam.
