Run for Boston, a free, one-mile walk/run at 11:30 a.m. in remembrance of the lives lost during the Boston Marathon and all lives lost recently to violence in our community and abroad is scheduled Tuesday, April 23.
Walkers/runners will depart from the front of the Hall Activities Center and run or walk along Riverside Drive to the stop sign at Peachtree Street and then return to campus. See the campus map for locations.
This run/walk is planned by Millsaps College students Raven Scott and Kasey Laird as part of a Day of Peace on Tuesday, April 23. The day will end with a candlelight vigil at Millsaps College around the Plaza fountain at 8 p.m. The Rev. Chris Donald, chaplain at Millsaps College, and the black Student Association Choir will make presentations in honor of lives lost.
Both the run and vigil are free and open to the public.
