A Jackson Mayoral Candidate Panel Discussion will be held at Millsaps College on Tuesday, March 10 at 7 p.m. in the Ford Academic Complex Recital Hall.
Mayoral candidates Robert Amos, Dorothy “Dot” Benford, Jackson city councilman Marshand Crisler, Eddie Fair, State Senator John Horhn, former Jackson Police Chief Robert Johnson and Rick Whitlow will briefly lay out their plans for the office of mayor and take questions from audience members.
The event is sponsored by the Millsaps College Political Science Club, the Black Student Association, Young Democrats, College Republicans and the Jackson Progressives. Brad “Kamikaze” Franklin will moderate the panel discussion. The event is free and open to the public.
