Guitarist Jimmy Turner has performed extensively across the South and Midwest. He has performed with the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra and Mississippi Opera, and is often heard on "Mississippi Concert Hall" on Public Radio of Mississippi (PRM). Mr. Turner is a native of Jackson, MS, where he maintains a private guitar studio and serves on the adjunct faculty at both Millsaps College and Wesley College (Mississippi). He has been an adjudicator for the Mississippi Federation of Music Clubs and the American String Teachers Association.

Mr. Turner received Bachelor of Music Education and Master of Music degrees from the University of Southern Mississippi. He has performed in master classes for Carlos Barbosa-Lima, Jorge Morel, and Adam Holzman.
