Annah Marshall Joseph

Class of 2001

Annah Marshall Joseph was recently chosen to receive a Graduate Council Fellowship to The University of Alabama for the 2003-2004 academic year. Joseph is in the master's degree program in Social Work.

J.D. Wolfe

Class of 2004

J.D. is currently a graduate student in sociology at Indiana University.

Rebecca Hill

Class of 2001

Rebecca is currently a graduate student in anthropology at Tulane University. She is studying archaeology and takes part in the excavations at Kiuic along with Dr. Bey and Anna Catesby McGehee.

Anna Catesby McGehee

Class of 2002

Anna Catesby is currently a graduate student in anthropology at Vanderbilt University. She is studying archaeology and works alongside Dr. Bey and Rebecca Hill at the Kiuic site in Yucatan, Mexico.
Kevin McMahon Kevin received his Master of Science in Architecture from Mississippi State University in 2003. He is now working on his Ph.D. in archaeology at the University of Sydney in Australia.

Hannah Page

Class of 2003

Hannah is currently a graduate student at the University of Michigan in a Joint Program in Anthropology & Social Work.

Jenna Spears Jenna Spears is currently a graduate student in anthropology at the University of California - Santa Cruz.

Ben Witt

Class of 2001

Ben is currently a graduate student in geography at the University of North Texas. Ben's current research involves GIS applications at an archaeological site in the Republic of Georgia and detailed spatial analysis of one of the earliest Clovis sites in North America.

Jenny Irons

Class of 1996

Dr. Irons received her Ph.D. from the University of Arizona in 2003. She is now an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Hamilton College in New York. To read an update from Jenny, click here.

Lea Pickard

Class of 1995

Dr. Pickard received her Ph.D. in anthropology from the State University of New York - Albany in 2003. Lea is currently an Assistant Professor of Anthropology at Luther College in Iowa.

Robin Ryle

Class of 1996

Robin received her MA in Sociology from Indiana University in 2000. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Birmingham-Southern College.

Carla Shirley

Class of 1995

Dr. Shirley received her Ph.D. in sociology from Indiana University. Carla is currently an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Rhodes College in Tennessee.

Ann received her Master's in Higher Education Administration from Indiana University in 1978. She is currently the Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid right here at Millsaps College!

Bonnie Kraybill (formerly Mitchell)

Class of 1999

Bonnie is living in Albuquerque, New Mexico with her husband Kevin and son Daniel. She is currently training to become an R.N. and was recently elected Vice President for the Student Nursing Association.

Shane Townsend

Shane has been busy in Virginia as a graduate student in Urban and Regional Planning at Virginia Commonwealth University. Shane also worked for the Virginia Department of Emergency Management, and received the FEMA Award for Service in the Attack on the Pentagonin in 2001. In 2002 Shane won a $1,000 scholarship through the International Association of Emergency Managers and DRI International. You can read more about it here.
