Below are events and programs held by the Office of International Student Programs. We strive to provide opportunities for educational and social growth through the IISPS Office.

Millsaps International Buddy System (MIBS)
MIBS is a program that connects volunteer native United States students from Millsaps with international students to welcome them and help them with their transition here. MIBS provides services such as room preparation, transportation around Jackson, tours of Millsaps and Jackson, and additional activities. Transportation help and tours should be arranged by scheduling a meeting time through the Office of International Programs. The goal of MIBS is to help international students with their transition to the Millsaps College by making connections between them and the community.

Dine with the Dean: The Annual International Student Dinner
Each year Dean Katz, Dean of Student Life, opens his home to all F-1 international students as well as key student leaders, faculty, and staff. This continues to be a fun social occasion, demonstrating American hospitality.

Multicultural Game Night
We encourage students from all countries and cultures to participate in a game night featuring games from all over the world. If you have a game or music you would like to share, please bring it along! This event is hosted by the Millsaps International Buddy System (MIBS) and the MCA Diversity Group.
