  • For admission decision purposes, we will accept your self-reported GPA via our online application and the self-reported form (if you did not include this data on your application)! Therefore, your official high school transcript or GED is only required after you have paid your enrollment deposit. Once you have paid your enrollment deposit, you should then ask your high school counselor to send an official copy of your transcript to us. Your counselor can send your transcript to us electronically through Parchment, eScrip-Safe, Scoir, or Scribbles Software or the counselor can send a hardcopy via postal mail from the school. Millsaps College does not accept faxed transcripts as official academic records.
  • For admission decision purposes, we will accept your self-reported test scores via our online application and the self-reported form (if you did not include this data on your application)! Therefore, your official standardized test scores are only required after you have paid your enrollment deposit. Your scores should either be sent from ACT or SAT or appear on your official high school transcript. Millsaps’ ACT code is 2212 and our SAT code is 1471.
    • You have the option to submit your application without a standardized test score. Please note: Applicants who choose to apply under our test-optional program are required to submit an official high school transcript. Your counselor can send your transcript to us electronically through SENDedu, Parchment, eScrip-Safe, or Scribbles Software or the counselor can send a hardcopy via postal mail from the school. Millsaps College does not accept faxed transcripts as official academic records.
  • Students for whom English is a second language should submit results of the IELTS or TOEFL. Millsaps’ code is 1471.

Applicants will be admitted based on high school grades, course selection, standardized test score (optional), activities, and recommendations (optional). Self-reported data will be verified before enrollment and any discrepancy could result in an adjustment to your merit scholarship and/or void an admission decision.

All admitted students will be considered for merit-based scholarships; students who wish to be considered for need-based financial aid must submit the results of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Millsaps’ FAFSA code is 002414.

Early Action

Early Action is a non-binding admission option which allows first-year students to receive early notification of the Millsaps admission decision while not having to let the college know of your decision until May 1. Students accepted under the Early Action option are free to apply to other schools. Under Early Action, you must apply and submit all supporting documents by November 15. Admitted students will be notified on a rolling basis starting in August. Admitted students may submit their enrollment deposit at any time until the Candidate’s Reply Date of May 1.
